Maren writes … “We had the morning and early afternoon at leisure in Lijiang today. We all went shopping in the beautiful old town and some of us also took advantage of the hotel spa to relax our tired muscles.
At mid afternoon it was off to the airport for our flight to Chengdu. We’re all very excited about our visit to the sanctuary tomorrow!!”
Oh Kaitlyn, I was amazed each day when I went onto this sight and followed your adventure……how beautiful the scenery! but then China has some amazing sights.
Now do you see why I did not dare accompany? too much for me, that climbing up hills! However am so happy that you and the others are seeing those interesting old world towns and most of all THE BEARS next. Enjoy, Katie, they are beautiful.
